HomeGrowTV’s Late-Flower Play: Sticky Bandit for Terpenes, Resin & AromaUpdated a few seconds ago

HomeGrowTV dials in late flower by adding Sticky Bandit, Cronk’s carbohydrate & K booster, to push terpenes, trichomes, and aroma while buds bulk up. Use it weekly in mid–late bloom, mix it after base nutrients, and pair with Monkey Juice for a microbe-powered root zone that improves nutrient uptake and flavor. Compatible with Classic 3-Part, Bonnie & Clyde, and PuurOrganics programs

Why carbohydrate boosters spike terpenes & resin in bloom

Late flower is energy-hungry: plants divert sugars to resin and terpene synthesis. Sticky Bandit supplies clean carbohydrates + a touch of potassium (0-0-1), letting plants spend less energy making sugars and more energy on aroma, flavor, and density. It also feeds beneficial microbes, especially when paired with Monkey Juice, improving root health and nutrient cycling for a louder terp profile.

Key benefits growers care about

  • Bigger terp profile & richer aroma (fuel for trichome/terp production)

  • Improved resin/stickiness visible on sugar leaves

  • Root-zone synergy when used with Monkey Juice (Bacillus spp.)

  • Works in soil, coco, hydro and with all Cronk lines

When to add it (timing that mirrors HomeGrowTV)

  • Veg (optional): 1×/week to prime microbe activity.

  • Early Bloom (weeks 1–3): begin at low-mid rate.

  • Mid–Late Bloom (weeks 4–8+): priority window—this is where Sticky Bandit shines for flavor, frost, and weight (the same window highlighted on the vlog around day ~51).

Exactly how to mix (order matters)

  1. (If used) Armadillo Armour first → prevents silica precipitation.

  2. Base nutrients (choose one program):

    • Classic Line: Micro → Grow → Bloom (Micro always first).

    • Bonnie & Clyde: CalMag → Bonnie (veg) or CalMag → Clyde (bloom). Never use Bonnie & Clyde together.

    • PuurOrganics: Add Armadillo Armour (if used) → Puur bases/additives one-by-one (organics often self-balance).

  3. Add Sticky Bandit (last).

  4. Add Monkey Juice (very last) to protect live microbes.

  5. Adjust pH.

Proven rates (simple, repeatable)

  • Soil / Coco / Soilless: 5–10 mL/gal once per week or every other watering.

  • Hydro / DWC: 2.5–5 mL/gal once per week (¼–½ strength).

  • With Monkey Juice: 5 mL/gal Sticky Bandit + label rate of Monkey Juice, weekly.

Pro Tip: Keep 10–20% runoff in coco to prevent salt buildup and to control dry-back precisely (better internodal spacing and stacking, as seen in coco comparisons on the vlog).

Target EC/PPM ranges to hit the “sweet spot”

Use Sticky Bandit to polish your feed—not to inflate EC. Stay within these Classic-program guidance ranges and tune for cultivar vigor:

Stage

EC Range

PPM (500 scale)

Early Veg

0.6–0.8

300–400

Mid Veg

1.0–1.2

500–600

Early Bloom

1.3–1.6

650–800

Mid Bloom

1.6–2.0

800–1000

Heavier feeders: Some cultivars (e.g., the Ridgeline phenos noted in the vlog) may want a slight bump within the mid-bloom band—watch tips and runoff EC to avoid overshooting.

Late-flower “Sticky Bandit” feed examples

A) Classic 3-Part (coco, mid–late bloom)

  • Armadillo Armour: per chart (first

  • CalMag (if using RO): add, wait 2–5 min

  • Micro → Grow → Bloom (in order)

  • Sticky Bandit: 5–10 mL/gal (next to last)

  • Monkey Juice: add very last

  • Adjust pH to 5.8–6.2 (after all nutrients are mixed)

  • Total EC: stay ~1.6–2.0 (adjust to cultivar)

B) Bonnie & Clyde (autoflower bloom, soil)

  • Armadillo Armour (optional): first

  • CalMag → Clyde (bloom base)

  • Sticky Bandit: 5–10 mL/gal (next to last)

  • Monkey Juice: add last

  • pH adjust to 6.2–6.5 (final step)

C) PuurOrganics (organic bloom finisher)

  • Armadillo Armour (first) → PuurBalance → PuurCalMag → PuurNitro → PuurPhos → PuurK (one-by-one)

  • Sticky Bandit compatible and helpful for microbe energy in living systems

  • Monkey Juice: last for live culture protection

  • pH last (only if needed) — organics often self-balance around 6.2–6.5.

Environment tips that protect your terps (and buds)

  • Humidity: Keep RH in late flower low enough to avoid botrytis; high 70–80% RH invites mold even if PM looks clean.

  • Airflow: Strong, even airflow + dehu will protect those dense, Sticky-Bandit-helped colas.

  • CO₂: If you run CO₂ (e.g., 1,200–1,500 ppm), watch temp & VPD; terps love stability.

Wrapping It Up — Sticky Bandit in Late Flower

When HomeGrowTV reached day 51 of bloom, the difference was visible: thicker frost, louder terps, and deeper color. That’s the kind of late-flower response Sticky Bandit is built for.

By delivering plant-available carbohydrates and potassium at the precise stage when buds are building weight and resin, Sticky Bandit helps your plants express their full potential — naturally amplifying aroma, flavor, and bag appeal.

It’s a perfect finisher for any feeding program — Classic, Bonnie & Clyde, or PuurOrganics — and it plays well with both soil and coco systems.

💡 Pro Tip: Keep your final two weeks clean — reduce nitrogen-heavy inputs, maintain balanced EC, and let Sticky Bandit and Monkey Juice handle flavor and finish.

Why Growers Keep Coming Back to Sticky Bandit

  • Terpene enhancement: fuels trichome development and volatile oil production.

  • Visual appeal: boosts resin density and shine.

  • Compatibility: safe with Cronk’s full nutrient lineup and beneficial microbes.

  • Ease of use: one step in your normal feed routine — just add before pH.

These small details, dialing your EC, controlling your humidity, and finishing with Sticky Bandit, are what turn a good harvest into a standout run.
